Ryan Cope joins BPIF Apprentice Council

Ryan Cope, The Sherwood Group’s Apprentice Pre-press Operator was invited to join the newly formed BPIF Apprentice Council as Midlands Representative and attended the first meeting on 4th November in London.

The BPIF Apprentice Council was formed to provide a platform for council members to express their views on the industry, provide feedback on BPIF training and have an opportunity to shape the delivery of future training programmes. The Apprentice Council will meet twice a year.

Nominated for BPIF Apprentice Council

Ryan is currently undertaking the BPIF Level 3 apprenticeship in Digital Artwork and he was nominated to sit on the first Apprentice Council by Pete Shaw, BPIF Training Co-ordinator. Ryan will take part in creating the first campaign to promote apprentices among school leavers.

Ryan commented: “It is an exceptional commendation to be selected from a large number of individuals based throughout the Midlands. I feel privileged to be given the opportunity to contribute to the print industry and promote print apprenticeships.”
