The Sherwood Group undertook vital steps to ensure enhanced health and safety measures from the start of the Covid-19 outbreak. As a main UK food packaging manufacturer, The Group is an essential link in the food supply chain, and we have been continuously working around the clock to meet the needs of the industry. We continually reassess our internal procedures to ensure health and safety of our staff, suppliers and customers, and to create a safe manufacturing environment for your products.
We have introduced the following internal procedures:
All employees who are able to work remotely, have been working from home since the Coronavirus outbreak. We have implemented changes to shift patterns for our factory floor staff, to both protect the workforce and optimise manufacturing capacity.
