The Sherwood Group are a £30M turnover market leading cartonboard, packaging and greeting card printing company with facilities in Nottingham, Sheffield and the Far East. We are looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager for our Nottingham site.
- You are a hands on Operations Manager with previous experience of shop floor management within the print industry, preferably folding cartons.
- You are able to lead, motivate and develop a team of shop floor personnel to achieve their daily production and quality targets.
- You are able to deliver sustainable process improvements, productivity gains and downtime reduction using lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
Reporting to the Managing Director the successful candidate will demonstrate that they have both the technical knowledge and management skills required and a positive, proactive, can do attitude with a determination to succeed.
