The Sherwood Group are delighted to announce that we have retained our BRCGS ‘AA’ certification for the 4th consecutive year, following this year’s vigorous inspection.
To meet the requirements of the standard, the Group’s manufacturing facility in Nottingham yet again excelled in expectations across a stringent set of criteria. The audit process took place in April 2022 and resulted in the company achieving the highest score for food packaging safety.

“The Sherwood Group achieved their first BRC certification in ‘High Hygiene Category’ back in 2010 and we are very proud of how we have continued to improve as a business to sustain ‘AA’ grade for the past 4 years. The certification gives credibility to our customers and confidence in the safety and quality of their products”.
The Group’s commitment to the food packaging market has been also reflected in continuing with rigorous health and safety measures at their Nottingham site throughout 2021, with an aim to minimise disruptions from new Covid-19 infections and to provide safe, quality products during challenging times.
