We're committed to caring for the environment.

The Sherwood Group is committed to caring for the environment and achieving carbon neutrality, with a goal to reach net zero by 2040. We uphold three core policy commitments: continual improvement of our environmental performance, prevention of pollution, and full compliance with environmental legislation. We ensure that all our activities, products, and services align with applicable laws and contribute to minimizing our environmental footprint.

We hold ourselves to the highest standards.

In order to ensure the achievement of our commitments, we have implemented an environmental management system that satisfies the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2015.

A Measured and Recognised Approach to Sustainability

At The Sherwood Group, sustainability is embedded into how we operate, improve, and grow as a business. We take a structured and measurable approach to environmental and social responsibility, setting annual objectives and continuously monitoring our progress across all areas of the organisation. These efforts are communicated transparently through our annual Corporate and Social Responsibility Report.

In addition to our internal commitments, our sustainability management system has been independently assessed by EcoVadis, one of the world’s leading providers of business sustainability ratings. In March 2025, The Sherwood Group was awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal, achieving a score of 70/100 and placing us within the top 15% of organisations globally. This recognition reflects the strength of our approach and our ongoing commitment to responsible, ethical, and sustainable business practices.
